Patch Help

Hey Guys, after playing Second Age for a few days, i decided to look for a new shard thats more centered on fun than professionalism

Ive read the installation procedure, and it seems my patch is too high to begin with. I downloaded my UO off the EA website, and when i went to patch it, it was already at 6.0 something.

Ontop of that, to play Second Age, i used Razor to launch the server.

So id like to know if theres an easy way to get past this, or if i need to totally unistall UO and start again.

Id love to have a crack at this shard, it sounds fun from what ive read, and id like to PvM a bit since all i ever used to do was PvP (old habbits die hard lol)

Talxious, unfortunately you will have to uninstall and reinstall the client. The client you get from EA is too far patched to be used on WP. Take a look at the getting started instructions here in the forums. Step 1 has links to older version of the client. You can still use Razor, and we also recommend ConnectUO which can be found in Step 3, as it allows you to get the shard patch as well.
