Corpses not disappearing

Noticed lately that many corpses seem to be frozen in mid-fall, even after claim is used. Kind of aggravating at a champ spawn especially as masses of frozen corpses pile up. Have to run to another screen or two over to make them disappear. Encountered this on my PC, but not on laptop. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks.

As much as I hate to sound like a Microsoft support technician, the only way I found to fix this is to completely reboot your system - a complete power-off, then re-power on, NOT just a 'restart'.

It's a strange issue with the client that will show up out of nowhere and disappear just as quickly. We can't figure out how to make it happen on purpose so it's hard to find a fix for it. One day you'll log in and it'll be back to normal.

I must assume that it involves packets that aren't reaching the client for some reason but I don't know if that's the fault of Windows, Razor, an anti-virus program, or what that's causing it.

Falkor,

I can eliminate one of the possibilities anyways.

I do NOT use Razor, and I have had this problem occasionally. Unfortunately (or fortunately :) ) , it hasn't happened frequently enough to allow me to try to track the source.

Also - I'm still on a Windows XP (SP3) system.

Loch

p.s. I do NOT run any active virus scanners - just an on-demand, selected file scanner.

As a side note, if you run a screen or two away and come back, I think you will find that the corpses have "fallen"
