Diamond Earrings in Armory

I just attempted three times to remove three different sets of diamond earrings from the locked down Armory on my front steps. Every time, the item disappeared from the Armory's inventory but did not appear in my backpack. (And due to my faux pas last night, my backpack is rather empty now). I checked but the items were also not laying on the ground. I tried logging out fully and back in and the earrings were still not either in the Armory or my pack. I tried using the Armory's "Fill from Backpack" function in case maybe I just couldn't see them but it did not restore the earrings to the inventory. I haven't dared try any other style earrings for fear of losing them too but rings, bracelets, and other items seem unaffected.
