The travel book consumes a charge when you open it and not when you choose a location. Therefore, it consumes a charge even if you cancel and close the book.

Its probably coded wrong in the OnClick method.

I took a look at the script, and yes, it was purposely coded in a matter which uses a charge whether you select a destination or cancel out.
