Token/gold jar leakage

I've noticed this several times and it isn't a critical issue just a bit annoying. From time to time I have held on to token or gold filled jars from dungeon chests for several hours in my backpack. Upon later double clicking the jars to get the contents I got only 1 token ( from several jars) or no gold at all.

I just had a friend n game give me some token jars about 12 that they just wanted to unload because they didn't have room in their pack (as explained to me.. why they didn't click them themselves I'm not sure) for them. I clicked all of them for a grand total of 1 (count em) token. Not even 12 (one for each) but 1 only.

Anyone else noticed these jars leaking their value in your pack?

That's a very interesting report Kaw. I just checked the gold jar and token jar scripts, and there are no timers in those scripts, just a random minimum to maximum range of tokens/gold that appear when the jar is double clicked. I will continue to investigate.

Just as a double-check, you didn't have any macros or scripts running that might have auto-scooped the tokens?

Nope no auto scoop.. I just now clicked the single token sitting in my backpack from the jars mentioned in the earlier post.. and got the message that 0 tokens were added to my ledger as well. So it is very odd behavior to be sure.

I think I see what is happening. The Min and Max values were not being saved (serialized) when the world saves. When the world loades the next time, it would have no values for Min or Max, so they would either be null or zero. That is why the jars were returning nothing or coins that had no value. I have added serialization to the values now, and it will be active as of the next restart. After that, all future gold and token jars will act properly.
