Ghost/Falkor! Help!

I got PATTY LEE a new machine and setup UO using the default installer and installed Razor from the same page.

I've set both razor and UO client to windows 7 compatibility mode and run as admin.

Patty can get as far as the Character Selection screen when clicking the right arrow (or pressing enter) yields a dialog box that just says "fatal: with an X in the upper right-hand corner and an "OK" button.

Clicking on the OK or the X closes the client completely.

Any ideas?

Make sure the client.exe in the c:\uowp folder is set to run as admin. I'm not certain that compatibility mode is required but I guess it can't hurt.

I haven't tried installing on Win10 since the fall Creator's Update and they're about to drop the spring version any time now.

Oh, and of course make sure all the Razor options are chosen as shown in this thread:

Already had that done... I followed the directions.

I'm re-installing the client for the second time... this time I removed the directory it was installed in thinking that something may have gotten put there that was bugging it out.

Will let ya know.

Does it play without Razor? The installer puts a link on the desktop to play the unencrypted client directly.

Let's attack one area of it at a time.
