I died due to either shard going down, or temporary loss of internet. (my char just stopped moving, but enemies kept functioning) When I went to log back in, it said the shard was down. I waited a bit and tried again. I get completely logged in, including acct name, password etc, but the game does not come up. When I hit the UO insignia in my tray, I get this little 2 inch by 2 inch picture of uo, (like a mini screen of the game) with some notice on it that is much too small to read. Can you advise me how to get into game. I am unable to log in either with or without razor.

Answering here just so others find it if they happen to search for the same problem.

For any OS that is Windows Vista or newer (Win7, Win8), Razor has to be run as administrator because it needs those rights to see and modify the network traffic going to/from the UO client program. It also helps to run the client as administrator just in case. It can't hurt anything and it may ward off problems you would otherwise experience.

If you are seeing a mini version of the shard when you run you mouse over the UO icon in the tray, it sounds like you game window might have gotten moved off screen. Run you mouse over the preview, then right click in it and select Move. Now use you arrow keys (try the left arrow key first) to hopefully move the game window back on screen.
