Hi all. I've been trying to submit an issue to the RunUO.Com forum and I have found an incompatibility between their site and I'm guessing Internet Explorer 10. (I'm running Windows 8 and IE 10 is the default browser) I could load up another browser but had major issues with Chrome on this new machine and uninstalled it as chrome would not allow me to vote for the shard! Anyhow, here is the request. If someone with a RunUO.Com forum account could forward this issue to their forum it would be greatly appreciated. When I try it tells me that I forgot to enter the text image data (hate those stupid things) which because of what seems to be a compatibility issue does not show with IE 10. Tried to send em an email but they are using the same process to filter out spam from there email responder. So, I can't create an account, can't send em an email and have the problem below with my Razor that I really would like to find an answer for.

Razor burn:
I've got a nifty lil script I set up to load my hunter and potion keys with anything in my pack that fits. Then it turns around and drops 100 Band-Aids, a 100 use pet leash, and 5/5 greater cure/heal pots. The pots sit in my main pack (because I haven't gotten the script to say in place long enough to dump them into a sub pack) and the pet leash is dropped into my utility bag. (band-aids are moved to a specific location in my main pack.

Script works GREAT! Now for the burn...
Almost without fail if I get knocked out or logout of the client and come back in Razor finds it necessary to modify my script. It replaces select lines with 'Wait for Gump (Any)' lines. this breaks the macro and it must be recreated. I'm thinking it has something to do with Widows 8, but thought asking the folks on the RunUO forums what they think. Here is a screen shot to help illustrate the issue:

If I can get them to set me up an account I'd be glad to post it but I'd bet their validator will still be an issue for me.

Thanks,
Kaw...

What do those lines say before Razor changes them?

Just wondering if there was a pattern to its replacement...

For the browser issue, go grab Firefox, even if it's just for use on the RunUO forum.

As a last ditch idea for the script, what if you set it to read-only in Windows before running Razor? You couldn't edit it but at least it couldn't either!

Not a bad idea. What I have done is backed up a working copy so when razor modifies I can copy it back. The read only might be an option to lockout Razor from mods.

I had chrome and it really messed up my voting. (wasn't even the default browser) I'll give firefox a shot I guess. need this solved.

The lines basically were just selections of the Gump menu on the key in question. This one in the screen shot is the ranger key. There would be a selection of the 'add from inventory' then selecting 100 band aids and 100 uses of a leash. each of these would have had a legitimate 'Wait For Gump (Any) separating them.

Just as a follow up so that anyone searching the topic has this information. DO NOT set your macro files in Razor to 'Read Only'. The results are not catastrophic but you will throw errors as the logic for Razor opens the macro files on execution for input and output therefore you run into a permissions issue every time you trigger the macro.

Kaw...

Okay so I just downloaded and install the latest version of FireFox to try and get into RunUO.com's forums. I got the very same error message when trying to register as I did with IE 10. So now I'm beginning to think that their website it just broken on the registration and/or email response pages both are indicating that I have not supplied the required CAPTCHA verification. This does not appear with either browser. So i'm still stuck in the weeds here. Find here three attachments:

You will note the difference in the last 24 lines of these two macro files.

ANYONE, who has an email address (not a web from that is going to ask for the CAPTCHA verification again) for someone within the RunUO web support team. Please either contact them on my behalf or provide the email to me so I can reach out to them. If I can get an account established then I can ask the question and hopefully get this resolved.

I had this exact problem with a checkbook macro I created. I never did find a way around it until I decided to try out EasyUO instead of Razor.

Sorry for no help, just saying you're not alone matey.
