getting to patch 5.0.6.c

Hello, I am trying to follow your instructions for making a compatible version of the game but I am having trouble getting to the specific patch. The patching goes so fast that I can't stop it in time - I've tried 3 times lol.
Anyway, any advice on how to do this?

Sabrina, thank you for trying to play on WP.

For patching, just watch the patch version and be ready to hit cancel as soon as 5.0.6.c is done and it starts downloading 5.0.6.d. I believe that our shard will work with version 5.0.6.d if that is the version you get it stopped on.

Hello Sabrina, once 5.0.6c is being applied the cancel button will grey out and you can start clicking it over and over so as soon as the 5.0.6d client starts downloading it will cancel.

Well it took a few tries but I finally stopped on the right patch
In a continuing show of my brilliance I logged in... forgetting that I had read a few days ago that I should choose a character type rather than go with "advanced" and in doing so, lost all of the starting stats and skills lol. Now, I hate to be a pain right off the bat but I'm hoping to throw myself at your mercy and have you delete my char so I can start over one time and do it right if possible...
