I am disappointed that someone saw the need to remove the box of free jewelry from the chest on the steps of the NPG guildhouse in Luna....there was a 50+ pieces of donated and crafted jewelry in there to assist new players...I cannot imagine someone needing every piece plus the box...

That is disappointing. Will collect more jewelries for the free chest

Unfortunately, this chest has been raided again. This behavior is unacceptable and will result in a shard ban if staff determines who the culprit was. Donation chests that players have out are there to help new players get started with some better gear. If you are a new player, you can pick and choose as you wish, but you may only take what you can use on your player. The chests are not there to stock your vendor (with the exception of the donation chests at teh vendor mall in Pineville meant specifically for that purpose).

If the culprit who raided the NPG guildhouse chest comes forward to staff and confesses, they can avoid the ban.

So reading through this, this has happened before? What the heck!!! Wonder if it is the same player doing it? I hope whoever did it is caught.

The chest that Ghost mentioned in the Vendor Mall is set to 'Friend' so public cannot access it.

Sorry to hear someone emptied that chest. Not cool.

just returned from a weekend away for the holiday to see this post....

First, I wish to fully thank the anonymous players that donate their crafted and found wares to the donation chest. I thank you for continuing the work of the NPG guild...carrying on Joys vision. I know over the years this chest has helped many a new player...including myself eons ago. My hope that the actions of a single selfish moron will not sway you from continuing these efforts. We will refill it and carry on as we were meant to do.

The offending person in this most recent incident has come forward, made a sincere apology and returned the bulk of the items. Staff considers the matter closed and because the player came forward, they have avoided a ban.
