Hi folks,

I am just curious, did (does) anybody play any kind of pen&paper roleplaying game?

I tried rather some:
- Dungeons and Dragons (fantasy)
- Rolemaster (fantasy)
- Middle Earth Role Playing (sure, fantasy)
- Cyberpunk (future)
- Torg (weird, don't ask me, else I'll talk for hours)
- Star Wars
- Deadlands (weird wild west RPG - ever seen the film wild wild west with Wil Smith - that's it)
- GURPS (Setting: Mage the Ascension, Mages in modern world)

Those were the ones I spent quite some time with, others were tested and discarded.
How about you?

I guess it's not really role playing but I'll still fire up Populous: The Beginning. It plays in Win7 better than it ever did in XP or 98.

I'm also a sucker for Stronghold 2 and Stronghold Legends. Finally, there's the classics of Black and White and B&W 2.

I looked into Star Trek Online but just couldn't make myself pull the trigger. There's only so many hours in a day!

I've been roleplaying that way for quite a few years, I've actually never roleplayed in game before. I used to roleplay quite a few theme's and genre's but now I mainly focus on Harry Potter. It's my dorky escape from reality and the fact that I never received my letter ten years ago!
