I have a Ventrillo server that is currently not being used that I can make available for Whispering Pines folks (30 user) IF players are intrested and GhostRiderGrey is ok with me doing so. No cost to anyone of course. I only want to offer this if people feel that it will not ruin the wonderful atmosphere here. Let me know in this post please or a pm if you would prefer that. Thank you for your kind offer Shinto. Staff and I were already working on bringing up a voice solution and would like to continue along that path. If things there do not pan out, may we consider your offer at that time?

Staff may hate me, but I don't see what's wrong with a person setting up a vent for players until the staff gets something going... if it's free and offered why not use it?

Shinigami, we certainly do not hate you. I do appreciate Shinto's offer, and there is nothing wrong with him setting up vent for players to use. I only wanted to make him aware that we were working on a solution on the staff side of WP. Even when that is in place (it is in the testing stage now) players are still free to communicate with each other through other means.
