Here you go Falkor, I do hope its a 1994, I got it free from my brother. Its had a paint job, third gear in the gearbox is broke, gotta get that fixed

The car is a 1995+. If it's actually titled as a 94 I'd look for evidence of a VIN swap; there's really no grey area there They actually stopped production for several months to switch over to the new body design and our club couldn't tour the factory that year. It was awesome to see those cars being made though - I went twice in the 90s.

What's interesting is the rear wing and that OZ wheel set were a package found only on 1999 non-turbo "anniversary" models. The wing is the same as 1997+ turbo models but the wheels were only on that special edition.

Ah ha! Your right! this is my 99! my mistake when i said 94/95 I was thinking about my Mitsubishi Mirage. The Eclipse does still have 2 of the OZ wheels, How would I be able to find out if it is an anniversary model? I really love the car just need to do some fixing up on it but great car and fantastic on gas!


After I looked up the package everything from the body style to the interior match other then the accented exhaust exit. This was a used car before I got it so don't know for sure what all has changed on this car.

Is the car a turbo model (GS-T or GSX)? If not, then it has to be the anniversary GS model because it's the only way it it could come with the big rear wing. Non-turbo cars (and all convertibles, turbo or not) came with the low wing.

I don't recall anything special about the exhaust on the anniversary package. I think they came with the standard single-tip exhaust all non-turbo cars used.

I used to always see other models and notice that they dont have a rear wing like mine so I thought mine was modified. I guess I have the better Eclipse!
