That's a good share, Mack. There are a few things I'd add for high end players really looking to max stats. Some spells and effects can lower some of your stats, such as Vampiric Embrace which gives a penalty to Fire Resistance. It is possible to go over normal cap so that if you're hit with such a spell or effect, you remain at cap. The only stats you can't do this with are Faster Casting and Faster Cast Recovery as mentioned by Exodus (Protection applies the -2 penalty after all other calculations).

I'll list all the ones I can think of along with their penalties and what stat score you'd need to compensate for it. If I've missed anything, let me know.

Vampiric Embrace: -25% Fire Resist - normal cap is 70, need 95% to compensate for it
Wraith Form: -5% Energy Resist/-5% Fire Resist - normal Resist cap is 70, need 75 to compensate
Lich Form: -5 Hit Point Regeneration/-10% Fire Resist - need 23 HP Regen + 80 Resist to compensate
Divine Fury: -10% Defense Chance Increase - normal cap is 45, need 55 to compensate

I'm not sure if there are any monsters that have Hit Lower Attack or Hit Lower Defense ability or if it's only in PvP (which doesn't exist here) but those effects reduce either your Hit Chance Increase or Defense Chance Increase by 25%. If you wanted to compensate for these, you'd have to go an extra 25 over cap.

Great link! Another consideration is if you use Divine Fury to refill your Stamina, the amount of defense chance increase you have is penalized by -10, so you'd want to go 10 over cap for DCI.
