I wanted to make sure that some things regarding the guild and our direction moving forward. There has been some departures recent from the guild (3 out of the 70 we had) and while we never really want to see people leave it is a fact of online gaming and life in general that things never remain in a static state. Over time things either grow or decline. It is just the way that things are that the 'good ole days' will always be that and bemoaning what was will never aid you in moving on to the new 'Good Ole Days' to come. We do that by adjusting and fitting those things we have at our disposal right now into where we'd like to be moving on.

You may agree or disagree with those that have left the guild. They may be friend or they may be someone you'd rather not parse your game time with. Regardless of your thinking about these individuals, remember that this is a game for fun and enjoyment. Someone else activities do not dictate your game play beyond the fact that we share this shard with many other players. So play your game and maintain a level of tolerance for those that you might not agree with. Ghost and his staff do a pretty amazing job of maintaining order. tFc needs to always be supportive of their efforts and not be 'part of the problem'.

Enough of that....

The real reason I wanted to write this is that there has been much banter about the activity level of the guild and such (in fact that has been used as an 'excuse' for departing the guild, but I don't consider that a reason of merit when we are in a state of change), but you need to know were myself and the officers of the guild see us moving in the future. There is a lot we have on the table right now, and with your input we are going to be putting more balls into the air more and more.

Guild house move: New plot is up. If Nia isn't back by this weekend we will throw up a temporary building just to return to normal operations. In Nia's absence Lamb has been experimenting with some design concepts we need to get it up sooner rather than later so if we don't see Nia soon we will put up a temporary structure and begin friending people to the new guild house.

Voting: Voting is something we want the guild to have taking place on a regular basis. This is your guild. Not mine, not any one emissaries; we collectively make up what is tFc. I want everyone to feel like they have a role in that and that comes by being open to input. Voting is one way to have a voice. By participating in the voting you provide valuable input to your officers on what things we need to be working on for all of us.

This forum: You need to post here ideas you want to share with the guild. If you PM someone in short little bursts cryptic messages about something while an officer or myself are also playing our game the idea can and will be lost in the process at times. Ghost has provided this little area of the web site for us to talk about things guild related. USE IT! Be courteous, but let everyone know the things you'd like to see tFc doing, being, and growing into. Do not sit back and think that our five emissaries and myself have all the answers, because we have zip without you. You will see with few exceptions that I will expect to be able to come back to this forum and find your ideas and or complaints if we are to act on them. I will not be chasing the open forums looking for them though I might notice something some time. Don't bet on it.

Email: We want your email so we can build a mailing list to blind carbon copy all of you info of what we are currently doing and up to. to alert you when we have made new posting with important information to this forum, etc. PM me here or drop a book in my a donation box either at my castle or Guildmore's box at the guild house when we have it back up. We want to be able to communicate with you outside of game, so you have a better experience inside of game.

Activities: We just elected three new emissaries bringing our total back up to 5. This is core to the transition of change within the guild. Right now, we are planning on eventually selecting either one of the emissaries or a special designate individual or team to become our activities coordinator. Spawns are easy and we will once we have established the who to this be scheduling champ spawns to bring in those who may not be able to run on their own as many of us do. This helps build gold for newer members and secure more scrolls and such. But we will also be gearing up to run regular peerless runs as well so we can garner resources and experiences we all want to have. Again, this is where we are headed but it doesn't mean any one of you can't take the initiative and call out in guild chat a spawn run and go do it. You will be surprised at how often and how many of your guild mates can and will join you. And if they don't nothing says you can't walk away and try it again later. Some times just don't work for everyone as they may be busy dealing with IRL or other personal game play issues.

Closing:
We are not declining though we have lost a few members. tFc is in a state of change and change is growth. We will be in this state of growth for a while by the looks of it as we already have a lot of things we want to see happen with the guild, more communications, more say so to the membership, more activities in game, more more, more. We will see new faces coming in as well, and those new ones will be the lifeblood of our growth.

I encourage you to all seek to communicate using this forum, the donation boxes and anything else that you can to share your ideas and desires of what you want tFc to be in the future with your fellow guild members and the leadership of this guild. I don't want to hear bout sour grapes when no one has bothered to be part of the solution to those complaints. It is going to take all of us contributing to make this the tFc YOU want it to be.

Regards,
Kaw...

Vanson,
I want to assign a person or people to coordinate such things. If you want it probably would be a good idea to start a thread for suggested events and activities. You wanta take the initiative and do that?

Kaw...
