Posted: Wed Jul 09, 2014 1:58 pmThere seems to be some misunderstanding about the sky bridge community we are calling 'Ember Skys'. I'm posting this to clear up these as there exists some misconceptions about the community.
Misconception #1: Ember Skys is a new tFc Guild Town - FALSE! - The sky bridge community concept was the brain child of Shatterheart an tFc emissary. The town is open to anyone in any guild or anyone without a guild. It is likely as the town grows that it will for a time be predominantly tFc members that build there, but that by no means is a restriction to anyone else.
Misconception #2: Ember Skys is a tFc project - FALSE! - The initial towns folk were all friends of Shatterheart and of course because most of his friends happen to be tFc members as well those friends happened to be all tFc members. This didn't make it a guild project or anything other than a group of friends trying to create something from Shatters vision.
Misconception #3: You must have a yard wand to build in Ember Skys - FALSE! - While the yard wand is required to float bridge components into place, all build-able land in game is free for anyone to place a plot and build on. Ember Skys is no different than anywhere else on the shard. It would be nice if you don't have a yard wand to coordinate with other people who do in the area you are building so that they can integrate your construction into the concept for continuity, but bottom line is that there is no restrictions for those who haven't picked up the donation acquired yard wand.
