There was a brute uprising tonight in Sleepy Hollow. Regular brutes were seen, along with Chief brutes as well as other helpers like reapers, burnt ones, and satyrs. The rumor is that the brutes plan to move their gold out of the caves to another location and that this was just the advance scout group. Tonight's invasion was quelled when Solid defeated Mephitis who was commanding the troops.

Legend tells of a huge chest, filled with riches, that is guarded by the cleverest of locking mechanisms. What it contains and whether we'll see it is yet unknown!

The brutes got a little more aggressive tonight. They enlisted the help of ophidians this time, with many avengers, knights, shaman, and matriarchs fighting for the brute cause. There were also sporadic sightings of yamandons and an unusual growth of whomping willows in the area. In the end, even the appearance of Semidar wasn't enough to yield a brute victory.

All of this must be leading up to the moving of the gold out of the caves. This is bound to be one amazing treasure.

Tonight's defenders of Sleepy Hollow included Ari, Nivek, solid, spacerx, Styx, and Yx.

Tonight brought the conclusion to the Brute's uprising. They gave it their all, getting help from hiryu, oni, and succubi. The big surprise was who was urging them to move in the first place -- the evil Bunnicula!

When the bunny and his minions were through, a huge treasure chest was discovered. It proved to be unpickable by the most skilled locksmiths, nor was it unlockable through magic. Bags of keys were given to each player present and the first to find the key that would unlock the chest was to have its contents.

In the end, Ari made it look easy by opening the chest within 30 seconds. Styx, spacerx, and Nivek also helped quell the rebellion and all looks quiet again in Sleepy Hollow.
