Apologies for the extended downtime. Equipment at the server checked out fine. Network operations at the ISP is still trying to troubleshoot on their end as of 7:00PM shard time.

After much nashing of teeth, the ISP appears to have made sufficient tweaks to bring the server back online at 9:25PM shard time. We will continue to monitor the connection.

If it's not one thing it's another. Several power failures toke the shard down last night (Monday 8/5/13). Traced to a failing UPS unit which was swapped out at 9PM shard time.

The shard's ISP has notified me that they will be installing network upgrades on Tuesday, August 13th, 2013 between 7:00 AM MST and 7:30 AM MST. Expect outages during that time frame and plan accordingly.

From 8:00AM shard time til 4:15ish shard time, the shard and web server were down due to internet equipment failure.

As if the internet outages weren't bad enough (ISP tech is due out this afternoon), we had an honest to goodness script crash in Deal or No deal last night. When will this madness end??

Shard taken down this morning so that the ISP could troubleshoot bandwidth issues. Now back up [10:48am shard time] but awaiting callback from Level 3 [escalated] tech because Level 1 was unable to resolve issues. When the callback does come, we will go offline again so that they can do additional troubleshooting.
Thank you all for your patience. Know that we are working diligently to resolve the bandwidth/connection issues.

The shard was down between 5ish AM and 8ish AM due to a failure at the ISP. Service restored at 8ish after it was discovered and reported to the ISP.

The server's ISP is troubleshooting some reliability issues and causing intermittent outages. This has caused disconnects during the afternoon and evening. They are aware of it and are actively working to resolve all issues. There may be more disconnects through the evening and possibly in the morning.
**UPDATE** As of Thursday morning I was informed that the brief outages may continue through the week.
