A UPS battery failure caused a UPS to fail this morning, severing communications between the Shard and the Internet. All Fixed now!

Shard back online at 10:20AM shard time.

During the evening of May 17th and the morning of the 18th, the shard was taken down to troubleshoot some growing lag issues. The server ISP got involved on Saturday and made changes to the equipment which hopefully will stabilize and improve the situation.

We appreciate everyone's patience while we work on these issues.

A power outage covering several counties took the shard down for almost an hour this morning. We have put in a request for the hamsters to peddle faster.

A 2nd power outage covering several counties took the shard down between 4:20pm and 5:00pm.

During the evening of June 20 and the morning of the 21st, the shard's ISP went down for reasons known only to the ISP. Connection to the outside world was restored at 7:10am

Large area storms caused an extended power outage this evening.

Some down time Friday (07-26-13) evening to work with ISP on bandwidth issues. Tech call scheduled for Tuesday morning.

Tomorrow (7/30/13) sometime between the hours of 8am and 12pm, the shard will be down while the ISP technician checks out the equipment. We will be back online as soon as possible, hopefully with a more solid connection.

Use [shardtime to determine the shard's current time.

The ISP changed time slots but failed to advise me of such. New time slot is now 3pm-4pm today. Be prepared for shard outage at that time please.

Of course, tech running a bit late. Shard down at 4pm. We will be back up as soon as possible.
