After much delay, ConnectUO v2.0 has been released and is working very well on all windows platforms (XP, Vista, Windows 7, x32 and x64). When I get a spare moment, I will be updating the "Getting Started" area to reflect the new software, but in the meantime, you can grab it here:

Click Download on the left hand side, then run the installer. Once installed, search for Whispering Pines in the shard list and click play (or add us to your favorites). The shard patch will download automatically!

I personally have switched to ConnectUO 2.0. So far all is good. I run a Vista system so those of you that run that system know that there are often issues when running certain software. A lot of the U.O. software seems to have issues. I downloaded ConnectUO 2.O and installed/ starting using it with absolute ease. I myself have had no issues switching to ConnectUO 2.0 so I hope others will be able to use it with ease.
