Welcome to Whispering Pines
Posted: Sat Jun 21, 2008 2:40 pmI would like to take a moment and welcome everyone to Whispering Pines, a RunUO 2.0 Shard.
WP is a family oriented PVM shard with a friendly, professional staff. If strict PVP is your thing, please seek your entertainment elsewhere. We will have a limited PVP area and events, but this is by mutual consent only. Youngsters are welcome here, but only with adult supervison. We are not a nursery. No foul language will be tolerated on the shard.
WP has many things custom to this shard, including items, monsters, bosses and quests. I will make a more thorough posting of them elsewhere in these forums.
There is no skill cap on WP. We currently have a stat cap of 325 and a possible 365 with scrolls. There are 4 starter Professions (Magic, Warrior, Ranger/Tamer, Crafter) which will set all your skills to 70, and 6 skills to GM level (100). You will find gates for these Professions in the starting area. Please be sure to choose one before you agree to the rules of the shard and enter the game.
