In an effort to improve everyone's game experience on WP, there will now be a message that pops up when you log in if your client version is below or above 5.0.6c. Please patch your client to exactly 5.0.6c for the smoothest gaming experience.

Today we celebrate Whispering Pines' one year anniversary!! It's hard to imagine as we look back that it has been a year already. In honor of the anniversary, from now until Sunday evening we will be having Double Donation Days. What that means is if you donate $5, it is doubled and worth $10 in shard rewards. $10 doubles to $20, $30 to $60 and so on. In addition, check you bank box for a gift from the shard (distributed some time today). Events planned as staff time allows. Have a great day and THANK YOU for making Whispering Pines your home! --ADDED-- There will be a drawing for a house for any player 30 days old or less. Write your name in a book and put the book into the chest at Brit Bank. Drawing will be tomorrow! For the +30 day players, we are doing a giveaway of 1 floor decorated in your house by a GM. Write your name in a book and put the book into the RED chest at Brit Bank.

Personal hues are now being made available. This is similar to a guild hue, but will be your very own hue. You may choose your color from among those at the guild hues hall located at the west end of the hue field. Cost for a personal hue will be either a $30 shard donation reward, or 15 million shard gold. Page for a staff member to get your personal hue set up.

The Easter Bunny has visited Whispering Pines once again! This time he has left some Easter Eggs in all of the towns (except Ilshenar). An Easter Egg Basket along with a one time use Engraver has been placed in your bank box. Please engrave your Easter Basket with your name. Find as many eggs as you can before 7 PM Shard Time Easter Sunday! Put them in your basket and turn them into the chest at Brit Bank. Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place. There are two types of eggs...Easter Eggs and Rare Colored Easter Eggs. The Rare Colored Easter Eggs are quite unique. In order to be considered for the prizes you MUST turn in your Easter Egg Basket engraved in your Character name and filled with your collected eggs on or before 7 PM Shard Time Easter Sunday. Staff will be present to count down until Event End! Have Fun and Be Careful!!

Easter is finally here! The Easter Bunny has hidden 21 Easter Baskets around Whispering Pines. Find these baskets and double-click them to get a clue to the next location. ONLY DOUBLE CLICK EACH BASKET ONCE!! It is extremely important that you only do each basket once. If you do ANY of the 21 baskets more than once you will not be able to complete all three levels entirely! REMEMBER: ONLY DOUBLE CLICK EACH BASKET ONCE!! There are three levels to this hunt: Once you complete each level you will receive a bunny trophy which can be turned into the like-hued chests at Brit Bank. Each level has a prize and if you complete all three levels you will walk away with all three prizes. The levels are as such: Level 1-Find Baskets 1-10 (all of which are in or around Haven) Once you find them move on to Basket 11 to collect your Level 1 Trophy. Level 2-Find Baskets 11-15 Once you find them move on to Basket 16 to collect your Level 2 Trophy. Finally, Level 3- Baskets 16-21 Basket 21 will give you your Level 3 Trophy. Trade in your trophies at the Like-Hued Chests at Brit Bank to receive your rewards. The first clue will be given to you at the end of this message once you find Basket 1, double-click it and it will give you Easter Eggs that are etched with your clue to find Basket 2. Once you find Basket 2, double-click it and it will give you Easter Eggs that are etched with your clue to find Basket 3. And so on and so forth. Each basket gives you the clue to find your next basket. REMEMBER: ONLY DOUBLE CLICK EACH BASKET ONCE!! Have fun do as much as you like or don't like this hunt will be active until Monday morning!

The capacity of the Florists Seed Companion has been increased. In addition, all new ones will be blessed. If you already own one, page and staff will make your old one blessed as well.

Many of the vote counters were reset on the 1st. Please remember to vote for Whispering Pines to keep us high in the standings!! The higher we are, the more players see us and come to play. Last month we fell behind some, and I hope we can do better this month. You can vote once per day, per site. Thanks!!
