After much nashing of teeth, the ISP appears to have made sufficient tweaks to bring the server back online at 9:25PM shard time. We will continue to monitor the connection.

The ISP changed time slots but failed to advise me of such. New time slot is now 3pm-4pm today. Be prepared for shard outage at that time please.

Tomorrow (7/30) sometime between the hours of 8am and 12pm, the shard will be down while the ISP technician checks out the equipment. We will be back online as soon as possible, hopefully with a more solid connection. Use [shardtime to determine the shard's current time.

Rules ammended to allow other languages to be spoken in Party Chat, as well as in Guild Chat and PMs. English only in Public Chat or Local Chat please.

Made some changes to the Rules and Donations pages on the website, as well as the post called "How to go about getting a Forum Account". These reflect the new Staff Office near Britain Bank and the books/turn-in chests located there for Fourm Accts, Additional Accts, and Donations.

A new Staff Office (Thanks Falkor!) is now open just north of Britain Bank. At this location you will be able to grab and turn in Donation books, Additional Account Request books and Forum Account Request books. Please remember to PAGE for staff after you have turned in any of these book so that we know to go and retrieve them. If we need to speak to a player for some reason, we may also ask you to come to this location. A Pet PowerScroll Book can now be crafted using Inscription. [per player request] Books of SpellCraft now bond to their owners.

Everyone, especially new players, should take a moment and familiarize themselves with the Rules on the website. Especially the section concerning champs and how loot and powerscrolls are to be divided. Please also take a moment to read the post called "Courtesy requests"

Summer is upon us and that means it's time for a WP cleanup. Do you have chests full of collected junk and trash you don't really need? Trash these items for tokens and help us clean up. Less items means less for the server to have to keep track of and faster save times. There are 474424 items on the server right now, and we would love to see that cut by a 3rd.

Townhouses are once available for rental. Existing renters may demolish if they wish to stop renting. The following is a repeat of last month's announcement: WP now has townhouses! You can rent select buildings in towns across the land. They are marked with a 'UO' sign that will tell you the monthly cost and available lockdowns. These are all rented on a monthly basis and will remain public buildings. Note that some items inside the buildings are permanent so you'll have to decorate around them if necessary. More locations may be added later! Housing rules still apply; one house per account unless you have donated for an additional spot.

Happy Independence Day! Small gift in your bank boxes. 2 holiday quests are active. Find George Washington in Britain and Betsy Ross near Donation Hall. [note, if you have done the Betsy Ross quest in past years and already have the musket powder, you cannot do it again]
