Class Epic quests

Over the year's i have played many mmo's UO ofcourse being the first. However one aspect i enjoyed from a more current mmo EverQuest has these quests based on your class. the object is to attain the "epic" weapon for your class. They are tailored to your class and only useable by your class.
So i got to thinking since this server has predesigned class gates maybe they could be implimented based on those.
The Ranger Gate(Tamer) A Gnarled staff-Staff of the Wilds- Class specific stats= +5 taming +5 lore +5 vet 1 additional control slot. (255 endur) with the ability to place self repairs on it(same with all epics)
The Crafter's Gate Hard to say with this one, maybe several mini epics? since they could chose to do any of the crafts or maybe and entire set of clothing each one with +5 of a different craft skill?
The Warrior Gate Player chooses Fencing Archery mace or swords as a reward. Reward based on that skill/weapon chosen Base stats could be something like 15% all resists +10 healing then +5 whatever skill they chose. I.E Sword is chosen player gets a Viking Sword with the above base stats plus +5 Swordsmanship +5 tactics.
I could even help write the quest content and give idea's of the length/ toughness of them. This is NOT meant to be something someone can solo in aday. ideally it would require 3-6 players to defeat the final quest boss and a week of questing to get to that point, maybe longer. The crafter would be the only one i'd say could solo it since you wouldnt want to incorporate much fighting into the gentle crafters quests.
Anyway Was just an idea.
