Would like to see an increase in fishing drops, ie drift wood and maybe come up with some new crafting ideas for items that can only come from fishing...the sos's are great, but something else ... i don't know, maybe new clothing or armour/ new designs with a different sewing kit, or maybe breeding, add a breeding ring to finds...ancient sos's that offer better treasure chest locations...with add-on deeds...fishing huts, deco nets...sunken boat deeds...

Have you tried using "an exotic fishing pole" ?

I think you can buy them somewhere in heartwood.
I forget exactly what, but you fish up some entirely different things.
