Would it be possible to tone down the heal rate of Mules, the way it is set now it's impossible to tame them. You have to beat them to 1 HP then do a fast tame, that is your character saying only 3 things, not 5 or 6. I have asked players in game and nobody I talked to has been able to tame one. Thanks in advance.

I can confirm this.

I'll beat down a mule bare-fisted until no more blue is shown for health.
If I hit it 2 times more after that point and then immediately use taming, it is no longer subdued long before I have any chance for the tame to complete.
If I hit it 3 times more after that point the mule is dead.

I killed three mules in a row the other day.
Trust me, I'm not that much of a newb.

Well I just wanted to say that I have tamed 2 so far. It is difficult but not impossible.

Hey all, just wanted to chime in here real quick. I just tamed 4 of'em the other night. It's tough to do, but definitely possible. I have some extras if anyone is in need of a mule.

where might i find these mules?

You can find'em after you complete a champ spawn.

Edit: After the crafter champ spawn, that is.
