Tameable and rideable dreadhorn... half just kidding. We have a rare pet that is a tough solo tame thats useless against everything. The legendary wyrm. I don't think he is often tamed due to his being the same as a dragon.

I'd be all for ultra rare pets ( less than a spawn every month or less) but it would take something special to make people care. FO instance, the paroxysmus swamp dragon times 20% physical dmg reduction when used as a mount. That's the kind of thing that would have people looking for it everyday

Players largely don't care about the rare pets already in existence, excepting the Steel Steed. I know because I've been taming almost all of them night after night for weeks without any competition at all. A lot of people want the best, the fastest, and the most profitable, and pets aren't considered endgame or even mid-game, excepting bios but we're talking about tameables here. If it were about the interest of a majority of players, you could do away with 90% of the game world altogether. On their own, how long would it take most players to notice if the entire Cove Orc Fort was deleted? But that 90% stays in anyway for the minority of players that enjoy the little (and big) unimportant things, and I think dolphins or an ultra-rare pet would be cool additions whether or not they appealed to power gamers.

A pet that I could use right now that would save a lot of time would be a beetle similar to the rust beetle. It would be used for wood though. You drop logs on it and it would convert them to boards and stack them.
