Revisiting the idea of Felucca

Hey guys. I was wondering if, after all these years, the idea of reintroducing Felucca (housing, unique content/quests/items/factions) has ever been on the table? I know the pk part of Fel is off-putting and nobody wants to moderate player killing quarrells, but if the rules were clear and nobody was forced to go there, then it might be pretty fun. Especially when highly geared players are fully insured/blessed anyways. Can't really lose much aside from bandaids. Let me know what you think, or what the methodology is behind locking it.

I wouldn't think it would be much of a enhancement to what we already have here unless it took a different twist than PvP version of Tram. Thinking about it if Ghost and staff were to consider it it could be, rather than a PvP area high risk facet to the shard where resources are more bountiful than tram like in the OSI model but rather than having the balance to that being a PKer threat, what about having much more aggressive and powerful mobs that just didn't stand around waiting for you to find them and engage but sought out the player aggressively.

As you say Exodus it could include harder tmap guardians, lots more pirates on the the water, spawning mobs who when killed would generate another more aggressive version of themselves (or an alternative mob altogether), aggressive towns people that would rather take your gold by force rather than your purchases.

Probably a coding / administrative nightmare but would be an awesome distinction from the typical UO experience.

Kaw...

When we started the shard, PvP was (and still is for for the most part) off the table. Extensive changes were made, removing the ability to go or have to go (T-Maps for example) to Felucca. We are not going to go back and reverse all that coding. That said, per the rules, if you wan to spar with another player, you merely have to submit a book and get the match approved.
