Would be great if a gump opened letting you know which items you had insured, and how much it was costing you

Best you can do currently is run your mouse over your gear on your paperdoll to see what is or is not insured. As for cost, its 600gp for each piece that has to be replaced via insurance each time you die. Remember to keep loose gold in your bank box to cover this expense. If there is no gold to cover the expense, the piece will loose it's insurance.

Will look as time allows for a gump based insurance readout.
