Mini Boss

I have an idea that may help the newer population enjoy "special content" earlier without making the game easier.

Most end game or special content is driven for end game players whom are very powerful.
to spread the gap between newer players and vets i sugguest a mini boss spawn in every main tram dungeon.

I.E Covetous could have a named Gazer that is as strong as a balron that would require 1-3 newer players to take down.

Shame could have an evil mage boss or some sort of elemental

Destard could have a named Dragon that is as strong as a shadow wyrm.

Keep in mind im talking level 1 of each dungeon not end i am aware that destard has some nasty stuff in it on lvl 2.

the idea is to add mini loot bonus while not giving artifacts or other endgame items for the kills.
Maybe even something simple like a trophy to place in your home like for covetous the named gazer drops a trophy called Eye of the Beholder King
The named dragon could drop a Tooth or claw. (dragons name)'s Fang/Claw.

Any thoughts?

Hey Dovahkin. I'm a fan of new content, but instead of coding new bosses in the tram dungeons It might be nice to have a chance for a trophy item on the dungeon bosses that already exist. They're doable in less than star hunter gear and are not hunted by more than a handful of players at the moment. I think the barrier is the amazons. If you don't have enough stealth, the amazon huntresses can be tough to get by.

I could see the desire for unguarded mini bosses with less than artifact drop quality but I would want them to fill a gap in either content or loot. The existing ML/Tok/Doom gear and content is made mostly obsolete by the star hunter, but if players are having trouble with SH, there is a lot of content out there to progress through. I found that my plateaus in progression are born from the tactics I employ, not the difficulty of the content or lack of gear.

My opinion is that I don't think there's a gap that needs to be filled while most dungeon bosses go un-killed as it is.

Perhaps many don't know about ways to get the "end game" gear. Though semi rare... the coveted crusaders gear can be had without killing a single beast on the shard. This is done by Voting at the travel center. Along with other gears and prizes. I just want to bring this to everyone attention. Also... i don't know if I'm end game... but i only have ONE piece of crusaders gear Incorporated into my gear.... for what thats worth.

I have read several of davohkins posts and suggestions/requests.. I think what im getting from putting them all together... and i could be wrong. Your looking for the "custom" content to be lowered and basically bring the customs of the game to those for a lack of a better phrase...unable to achieve a comfort level with our current higher end mobs.... and everyone gets a trophy type of deal. I know that sounds mean... but i dont have another way to say it.

While i also support tons of content... of much we have and i feel largely unexplored (by both newer and advanced players)...I have seen many progress through WP at different paces. Most of it is due to player ability and the willingness to explore the current content. Also a players time they spend on line. I personally don't agree with "everyone gets a trophy". My views do not reflect the staff of wp or even the greater part of wp players... just my views.

One of the biggest things i appreciate about wp is that it has not been turned into a cartoon of itself. Though it is a custom shard.. It still greatly has the old school type feel.
