vendor mall

I think it would be great if we had a staff run vendor mall.

I'd like to place a few vendors myself and there are currently two locations I know of that hold vendors, but I haven't been able to reach the home owners for almost a week now.
Staff, however, are normally on every day.

For a location I suggest the roof of the Luna inner or outer walls.
The location doesn't matter to me as I'd just be happy to have my vendors.
Lugging around 200,000+ plain boards is hard on your back.

At this time there is no plans for a Staff rune Vendor mall. We (the staff of W.P.) try to let players run their aspect of the game. Another words we try not to interfere with your game play more then necessary. But, as we did see a small issue with our smaller player base and getting in contact with player run vendor malls. We have during the 12 Days of Christmas installed a system of Player house/Vendor gates that you may purchase to help other players find there way to your home.

After getting similar feedback outside the forums I had revised this idea but silly me forgot to post it.
I see the issue it would have with staff involvement.

This may be a moot point with the new house gates, but I suppose that is subject to the opinion of our wonderful staff......

My idea is to have a staff built(not run) vendor mall. I envision a nicely decorated place where anyone can walk up and place a vendor without the need for staff to assist in any way. A central location for player vendors to exist and remove the need to hunt down vendors in various locations. Other than initial placement/deco staff would have no involvement. Granted, this may be slightly difficult to implement, but I think the idea deserves some merit.

I love this idea. There are venders scattered about that I have found by accident. Also, my house is in a very remote location so a vender for me is not realistic. A vender "mall" would be awsome. Maybe on strip of tiles in the travel center?

Our implementation for now is to not have a staff run vendor mall, but rather to use the house/vendor gates as a way to get to vendors. Players are still free to set up mini malls, as both Brom and the NPG guild have done.

Klako, if you had a house/vendor gate at the travel center, people could easily access your house vendor from there, just name the gate something descriptive, such as "Klako's Vendor".
