I've been away from UO for several years, but when I was still playing regular, I did enjoy casual role play. Nothing strictly enforced (meaning no one panics at the end of the world if you break character). One suggestion I would like to present is a section in the forums for people to post things about their in game characters. If you've never experienced role play much, this could be an area where you could get your feet wet as it were. If you already enjoy it, it's where you can endulge yourself, provide interesting tidbits for others to read, as well as material from others for you to view.
In game, I would like to do casual role play as well, though no one is by any means obligated to join in. If anyone has never role played before, or knows little about it, but would like to, I would be more than happy to provide some "basics" if you will, in a post here on the forums. As many of us play games like this to escape the real world, I find it helps to "become" someone else while online... even though Thorin is really just a modified extension of myself.
