Firstly let me say I'm not expecting anything that i write to be done as i have written it. Or to be done at all. And please write thoughts or tweaks to the ideas as you see room for improvement.
I have been thinking of how to address this issue for a while. And i had decided on a solution and when i read 2 people ( who i will not named) have a talk about their disappointment in the way the dungeon bosses are handled. Not by staff.... by us as players. Tho everyone is free to play as they wish... the spirit in which things were set up are not being observed. And i... not wishing to play that way .. seeing as how things have changed i am forced to either do the same or go without. I am choosing to go without (for now). See... all i want is organic mat. I'm not interested in the other drops or the gear. The bosses are at a premium as it is with the people responsibly and irresponsibly tackling them... adding going after them myself for what i want will only worsen the situation. And im not saying change it because i want organic. More split the goods that they drop. Instead of having to go to dungeon bosses for everything good. So we dont have 2 or 3 groups of people looking for different things ruining a part of the game that is challenging and fun.
My proposal is to perhaps take the organic mat from the dungeon bosses and maybe giving it to the doom gauntlet. Wait... before everyone gets upset... i understand the idea is to reduce the organic. And my suggestion is to reduce the drop even further to 200 organic a doom boss? maybe even less? This will accomplish a couple things... It will ease up the dungeon bosses... (by theory) it will make less crusader gear available in the world... assuming the dungeon bosses are freed up... and my more important point... perhaps those bosses will be up often enough for new player to discover them... and work on ways to take them down.. at the same time opening a market for those mid lvl Artie's in doom to be more present to sell... thus helping mid to newer players to acquire them and further their progress in the world. This is a jumping off point.. And running the gauntlet over and over would be a long and tedious task to achieve 1 bio worth... but achievable.
And leads me to the steel steed... Which has been altered to prevent the same type of abuse.. Now i don't have a great solution here but hopefully this spins one. Much like to get into doom. It could be a process in which you must gather resources to spawn a creature. Simple i know... but these could be any resources... going through how much to get there... just to spawn the steed... making it a pain to get a chance to tame one. Making it a quest... and a well earned chance to get a coveted prize. Obviously staff would have to work out the details... will take time to develop. Instead of 1k daemon bone to turn in to get to doom... you need 10k bone to spawn the steed to get a chance? anyone following me? just that kind of idea.. and of course it could still be set in khaldune... which would make it all the more fun.
Again these are just thoughts and looking for improvements and other suggestions.. Not trying to ruffle feathers... just looking for a possible solution.. And hopefully everyone reads and understand we as player need to try to make an effort to play in the spirit of the shard... not trying to tell anyone how to play... just asking for people to be mindful.
We have to remember. We as players brought these changes on ourselves.
