Deal Or No Deal Tutorial for Command Play

To begin, please purchase a Deal or No Deal ticket from the Live Game Ticket Seller. These cost 50k.
If your gameplay window size is 640X480, for best results, stand on the square, golden-colored carpet tile on stage next to the potted plant. Then, with a Deal or No Deal ticket in your pack, double-click Howie. The game will then begin. A U-shaped gump should appear somewhere on your screen, this is your Deal or No Deal game gump. On the left and right sides, the case amounts are listed. In the center is your information window, this will tell you what is next, show you how many cases you have left to pick, etc.
Now to begin your game, first, you need to choose your case. This case is the case that you believe contains the check for 1 mil gp. To choose your case type Case# in your regular game play screen and press enter. For example, type Case22 to choose case number 22 (Note that there is no space between case and 22).
Next, you must choose 6 cases to eliminate from the line up. You do this the same as choosing your first case. All you type in is Case# and press enter. For example, type Case1 to eliminate case number 1. Do this until you have chosen all 6 cases to be eliminated. *Please note that if you watch the Game Information section of your DOND gameplay gump it will show you how many cases are to be elimintated.* As you choose cases a box will appear in the center of your screen with a dollar amount. This is the amount hidden in the case and you have eliminated that amount from the possible prizes you may receive. It will also change that amount on your gameplay gump from yellow to blue. Once you have chosen the appropriate amount of cases to eliminate the upper corners of the gameplay gump will turn red and say banker’s calling. This is when you must type HearOffer and press enter. Another box will appear in the center of the screen with an amount in it which says Banks Offer in red. This is the amount that the bank is offering you to quit your game. If you so choose, you would then type Deal and continue choosing cases until they are all gone. **If you do not continue choosing cases, you will not get the amount the banker offered you. It is imperative to finish completely before leaving the area if at all possible** NOW, if you do not wish to take that amount simply say NoDeal. You will then be prompted to choose 5 cases to eliminate.
Continue as in the previous step except you will choose fewer cases. The will gradually go from choosing 6 cases per round to choosing 1 case per round. Follow the steps until you either hear an offer you like or you complete until there are only two cases left….the one you are holding which you chose at the beginning of the game and one that a model is holding. Once you complete all the steps and say NoDeal, Howie will offer you the chance to Trade your case for the one left standing on the stage. To Trade, simply type Trade and press enter. Howie will then reveal the amount you won and your prize will be put in your pack. If you wish to keep your original case, simply type NoTrade and press enter. Howie will tell you how much was left in the model’s case and your prize will be deposited in your pack. Game Over. You must then wait 24 hours to be able to play again.
Please note that you only have 20 minutes to play before the game will reset and you will lose your ticket. Also, the DOND Game gump has all commands for the game listed on the bottom of the gump window.
Please remember even if you choose a Deal before all cases are eliminated. You must complete the game by choosing cases to see what they contained. If you do not do this you will NOT get your prize and the game will NOT reset.
