Tokens and Token Ledgers

Greetings Players of W.P. I have had many questions on Tokens from new players. So I figured I would do an introduction on Tokens.

First, Tokens what are they? They are a coin, much like gold, with a mint color. Tokens for the most part are another form of currency. Their value is generally thought to be more then gold. Staff DOES NOT have an official stand of how much tokens are worth. At the time of writing this I have seen tokens sell for 7 gold pieces per token and up. This price can and will change as we leave the value up to the players on W.P.

Token Ledger is the mint book that you have when you enter W.P. when you double click it it shows, and keeps track of all your tokens. Tokens can be removed/added in the ledger either in loose form or check form by using the buttons in the gump.

How to get tokens: Each creature you kill gives tokens when it dies. The amount is based off fame. The higher the fame of the creature the greater the token amount will be. These tokens from kills are automatically placed in your Token Ledger (Token Ledger MUST remain in your pack for this!, If you remove the Token Ledger you WILL NOT get tokens for your kills!) .The amount that is placed in your ledger is briefly displayed by a system message in a similar mint color as the tokens at the bottom left or your UO screen.

The other ways to get tokens: Use our [claim or [grab system to claim the corpses of creatures after you loot them. This will place a small amount of bonus gold and tokens in your pack. Those tokens can be added to the ledger by double clicking them or using the ADD button on the ledger gump. You can also buy tokens from other players.

Token use: On 2nd floor of the Donation Hall which is found on the World Omniporter under Custom Destinations 3rd button down, there are items on display. There are more items on display through the mint colored gate located on that floor. To purchase items use the mint colored stone called “Vendor Stone”

Thank you Ch'Vayre!

In addition I would like to add that the Token Ledger is blessed, but if you put it in a bag within your backpack, it will loose it's blessed status and you might loose it if you die and cannot retrieve your body.

Please keep the Ledger in the top level of your backpack.

See you on the shard!

Thank you. This helps a lot. The token stones says its under edit at this time. Was hoping to get a look around and get a feel of how many of these tokens are required for the cool swag. Thanks again for the info!
