Item Modifier Caps

I have been being asked this frequently lately so i figured i would post a small guide on the max of certain item modifiers and potential goal numbers you may want to go for when putting together a suit of armor and weapon. The caps are just a general guideline as you do not have to have these numbers to have fun. They are more if you want the technical aspect of things. If you are gearing towards being a sampire, you will want to focus on these numbers for sure tho.

Also these caps are based off player versus monster. As the player versus player numbers are slightly different.

Item Modifiers and Caps

Hit Chance Increase - Capped at 45% - This increases your chance to successfully hit your target.

Defense Chance Increase - Capped at 45% - Increases your chance to defend against melee and ranged attacks (does not count towards magic attacks)

Damage Increase - Capped at 100% from Items and 300% from a combination of Items, Abilities, Spells, and Buffs.

Faster Casting - Capped at 2 for Magery and Necromancy. Capped at 4 for Bushido, Chivalry, and Ninjitsu. (if you have Magery over 70 then the cap is 2 for chivalry. This reduces how long it takes to cast a spell.

Faster Cast Recovery - Capped at 6. This is your spell recovery time. At 6 you eliminate your recovery time for spells.

Lower Mana Cost - Capped at 40% - Lowers the amount of mana needed to cast a spell or use a mana required ability.

Lower Regeant Cost - No cap but over 100% is not needed and does not give any special benefit. Lowers the number of regeants used to cast spells. Also lowers the amount of tithing used by Chivalry.

Spell Damage Increase - No cap for player versus monster. The more the merrier. Increases the amount of spell damage you do.

Swing Speed Increase - Capped at 60% - Swing speed is never less then 1.25 seconds. Increases the rate of speed you swing your weapon or fire a bow/crossbow.

Hit Point Regen - Capped at 18 - The amount of hit points you regenerate over time.

Mana Regen - Cap from equipment is 30 - Meditation and Focus both impact your mana regen. (Lots of math is involved here and i would have to set up a completely seperate guide to give full understanding of it)

Stamina Regen - Capped at 24 - The amount of stamina you regenerate over time.

Hit Lower Attack - No Cap - Lowers the Hit Chance Increase of your target.

Hit Lower Defense - No Cap - Lowers Defense Rating of your target.

Hit Area Effects - Hits all targets within 8 Tiles with specified hit area effect.

Hit Spells - Same as Hit area but it is single target.

Hit Leeches - Has a chance to leech specified effect per successful hit on a target.

Luck - No Cap - (again lots of math involved) Idealy tho going by the luck equations on numberous sources rounded up 3982 Luck will give you a 100% chance at better loot. Luck effects the number of items you get as loot from a kill. Also it effects the number of properties on a item off a kill, and the intensity that these properties will have.

I hope everyone finds this helpfull and if you have any questions feel free to reply to this post or PM me in game.
