1) Whispering Pines' Deal Or No Deal game is accessible via the green omniportals. (Alternatively, it is just above the Magic Shop in northwest Brit)
2) Once you get there, you can purchase a game ticket from the Live Game Ticket Seller for 50k.
3) From there, you walk to the red carpet in the middle of the room, and double click on Howey.
OMG THERE'S A BUNCH OF TEXT AND MENUS AND STUFF! It's ok.. settle down. It's very simple. We'll get through this.
4) There should be a rectangular menu bar on your screen with green buttons on it (Case #, HearOffer, Deal, NoDeal, etc.. You can move this around if you'd like.) It is now time to pick the cases you want to "get rid of." Remember, we want to take out all the smaller amounts early! Ok, on the far left of this menu bar, where it says Case # _ , you want to click on the _ and type in a number. Press the green "Okay" button. You have picked your first case!
6) After a few case guesses (maybe 5 or 6), the banker will offer you a deal. To view this deal, click "HearOffer". If you are not satisfied with this offer, you can click the "NoDeal" button, or if you'd like to take your money and walk away, you can click, "Deal".
7) If you chose Deal, a check will be deposited into your backpack, and you can cash it at the bank. If you chose NoDeal, you repeat step 6 as many times as you want. Remember, in the end you want to be left with cases that have large amounts, because this is what you walk away with!
Some DonD Tips:
If you click "End Game", your game ends, and you recieve nothing.
In the top left corner there are two or three ladies that you might or might not see, depending on your display settings. Try adjusting your UO Client options to a larger visibility, or remembering which numbers these are.
Hovering over a lady will reveal which Case # they are.
You do not need to have 50k on you to buy a ticket, the money will be taken out of your bank account.
GhostRiderGrey wrote:I will add that if you take the bankers deal, you still need to go through the rest of the case numbers to get to the end of the game. If you take the deal, then hit end game, you will get nothing.
If Lord of the Rings taught us anything, it's that humans are greedy. Keep your bearings! : )
