NEW VENDOR AREA

WPA has a new vendor location, assuming Dispiro has gotten a GM to setup a portal to her house. It may not have vendors just yet and if so, maybe they don't have much on them yet... but they will. I'd like to have this as a major stop for "all things crafted" but we'll see how the rest of the guild and customers feel.

As far as my own vendor(s), I plan to sell mass storage devices (keys, tookboxes, etc.) for Organics, Tokens, Arcane Gems and perhaps other valuables such as spell-crafting formulas etc. if that works. Reason being I don't need gold and if I did it would be too expensive to put these things up for 500k gp and up over 1 million perhaps. If it were to be my very own vendor town, I think I'd lean towards "Barter Town". ;)

The current plan is to place books for folks to write their request in and drop in a donation box of some sort, PM would also suffice. I'm open to suggestions.

Theory behind my barter system:
Tokens are needed to make all (or nearly all) of these storage devices and given each try takes 2 onyx key rings (purchased at donation center for 7,000 tokens each), the cost should be around 45,000 to 60,000 tokens per item (maybe less, prob no more). That is because most items have a 40% chance of success even if all your skills are Legendary so much (there is often platinum, petrified and other valuables required) can and will be lost in the crafting process. I also want to allow organics and arcane gems to be used as "coin", though I'm not yet sure what is equivalent to that many tokens. First guess is maybe 5,000 to 10,000 organics, give or take a few. The purchase would require fewer Arcane gems of course but if those are only used to craft some of these things, the seller sure won't want to accept them as payment for very long (after a while the value is not there as you have more than you need or will need any time soon).

All of this takes into account that I am the one getting the platinum, petrified, redwood, platinum granite, etc. (depending on the item) that is required to make the storage device. Any fine tuning of prices (trade items count) will be done based on the supply side of things. Whatever is hardest for me to get will be the most valuable and I'll lower the amount of those items needed in my barter calculations.

One last thing, hopefully Yordor and others will be a good sport and WPA will do the same. I'd like to have a rune book to WPA vendors at his Luna vendor house and we would have one to his vendor(s), and others. Would save some of the running around folks have to do to visit all of the vendors available. Just have a book handy near the vendors so ppl can travel quick and shop. Thanks for reading!!!!!!!!
