Appearantly, someone initiated a game and left it hanging. I jumped in a few times last night, only to discover the game was still running and Howie would not let me initiate one on my own.
DoND should get some kind of reset, as it is not usable in its present state.

When I tried to play DoND the first time I just jumped in without reading the posts on the forum on How To Play. However I was lucky and got a visit from our own neighborhood ghost who set me straight on where to stand to play the game (after two resets lol). Anyway my suggestion is to page the staff if you find poor Howie losing his voice like that cos you know the staff would love a break from the salt mines right?

If anyone hasn't played DoND yet and would like a chance to win a million gp (yes it is possible, I won it on my second or third try) then first up, READ THE FORUMS and don't try to stand next to Howie like in the real game, stand on the small golden carpet to the LEFT, not the main one in the center.

It is fixed!

If you are playing when it breaks (you lose connection, Howie quits responding, etc), please page so we know it needs to be fixed. If you drop by DoND hall and Howie is yammering on without anyone playing the game, let us know then too.

Remember that pages don't survive the server restart so if it's very late in the evening, page again in the morning if it's still not working.
