I have heard about spellcrafting but still have no clue how to go about getting the Book or the gems can someone please give me a small hint how to go about getting started with this type of crafting and as always ty for your time

As far as I know the book and spellcrafting jewels only drops off the Hyloth boss. Its a rare drop at that, there are 50 different craft gems, and of all bosses he has the slowest and widest re-spawn timer. Cheers

The book also needs to be charged with magic gems that can be obtained from crusty chests

..and some of the dungeon boss drop a couple as well.
...of course you can also always buy some from me or Silent as well
