I have yet to see someone use a boat but I know there was a boat race not long ago. Are there issues with boats or with just being on the water? I ask because someone said they got ambushed by a sea creature of some sort (during the race I think it was) and the Deep Blue scales I saw someplace are at the bottom (usually the most difficult/toughest items) of a list . If you died on your boat in the old days it could be trouble so not sure I want to go there until I understand what I'm getting into.

I use a boat for fishing every now and again.
Sea Serpents, kraken and water ellies roam the waves and can pull u up short.
Dying could be a problem though, always useful to leave the spare key with someone who can res you

Boats work great! I *think* the tillerman will respond to commands from a ghost but I'm not 100% sure.

We at NPG were just thinking of holding the 2nd WP Boat Race. Course will be the same as before. We'll have to pick a day and time when the most people can attend.

The last race was a blast. Your boat comes to a halt any time it hits another boat or ocean creature so it can get pretty crazy. All boats have the same speed so it's a matter of picking the most direct route around the course. That's what makes it truly anyone's race to win.
