What can we poison?

I guess we can't poison bows since only the Elven Bows could use poison? So any melee weapon can poison? Poison field is stronger if you have high poisoning skill?

Last but not least... is poison a waste of time for the most part... or can it be effective in WP? If effective at all, for which mobs? I think I remember that as in most games with undead, it won't work on them... least of all skellies.

(and of course I mean for medium to tough mobs, most any of us can handle the lower mobs without poison I think)

Thanks in advance,
Q

Try this link. Most if not all still applies I believe.

Basically you can apply poison to any bladed weapon capable of Infectious Strike. Using that special move then has a chance to poison the target with each successful hit, with a small chance of bumping the poison up another level. In the old days you could put poison on any bladed weapon, start swinging, and it'd poison whatever it hit.

You can't apply poison to a bow or arrows directly but Sylvani's Feywood Bow does have "Serpent Arrow" as a special ability.

Actually, most lower level undead are poisonable. Wraiths, boggles, and liches are immune. Poison fields are particularly effective against groups (like champs) and many NPCs have a hard time curing it at higher levels. If they're busy trying to cure themselves they aren't attacking you! That's especially true against mobs that use only magery for offense.
