Hola, I used to play UO 2d for years. Matter of fact, I think that was all I did between the ages of 14 and 18. : ) I've been poking around at all these free shards and this one has a great feel to it. I noticed there aren't many forum posts. Is this a new server? Is it very populated? Do the players just dislike forums?

Regardless, I hope to start playing in a few hours.. or tomorrow, or whenever. I'll be a blast from the past, and I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity! : D

Thank you for the compliment about the "feel" of the shard. My staff and I are working hard to make it a fun, family place.

We have been developing the shard since March 2008, and went public in June. With ConnectUO down, it has been a slow process to attract new players. Now that we are advertising on some of the other ranking sites, our playership has begun to rise at a steady pace. There will be more posts on the forums when that happens, and when I have time to add more to the "Getting Started" area.

I'm downloading everything for this right now. I played UO for about 6 years when I was younger and miss the simpler UO days. I went on the top UO sites and it seems that even UO now has fallen the way of new MMO's (towards PvP based only). I just wanted to get on here and say that it's refreshing to see that some servers keep it a more chilled fun experience. I'm sure I'll enjoy this.

hello, I just started today myself, and look forward to seeing you in the game

It must be something in the water. I started last night myself. Lots of fun and a nice place... even if it took me 5 minutes to remember how to run and 45 minutes to die the first time.
