Quentin's 1st week was great
Posted: Wed Sep 14, 2011 8:09 amThanks to all who helped and advised. I left Catskills about 10 yrs ago IIRC. Since then I played for maybe 2 months, around 2005 I would guess, on an RP shard named Shadowcove. UO was and still is the very best MMORPG that every was. I think you must all know the reasons so I won't go into that. Needless to say it was hard to stay away and I missed it.
I never was a great or dedicated hunter or PvM player but I have done some and I enjoy coming along to support others (heals, etc.). What I am primarily is a gatherer/crafter so I'm not sure where I fit in here. The plan for now is to max out survival as much as is reasonable for a non-combatant then build on Ore, Lumber and Alchemy Materials... if these are feasable... getting a boat and house along the way when I can. So much of the game is new to me (for starters crafting seems so much easier) that it will take a while to learn what I need to know.
What I really would like to know is this... is there anything that is actually in demand, in our WP economy, that can be made by a crafter such as Quentin is or will be? If not I will just play my own way through it as that is not a necessity for me, just something I like to do. I would like to eventually join a guild but want to find my own style here first and then find a guild I fit into.
