I'm really enjoying Whispering Pines. I used to play UO waaaay back when owning a Silver Katana of Vanquishing was the ambition of everyone, and I was a beta tester for 3rd Dawn. I struggled through Age of Shadows, although that did sour the experience. I left the official shard for awhile, but returned for Samurai Empire but left again a few months later and consigned UO to history, or so I thought.
Now I have discovered Whispering Pines. It's a lovely friendly place and I have oodles to do. Bio-Engineering! (I need a book so have to hammer the taming bods), I have to find the entrance to Heartwood and did someone say pet dye????? I always wanted a Blue Dragon =0)
Its a great shard and my son has even retaken UO up after watching me.

Had loads of fun tonight, I acquired a steel steed, only max level 11 and today I got to 120 taming, so I figured I could control him, took my son Fizzlepop to kill an Ancient Wyrm and a Balron. In Blood Dungeon we bumped into Justice, who took us to the Harry Potter Quest
Then the three of us headed towards the Swoops, Justice and I headed for the Irk's and it was after what must have been my 20th deathrobe that I realised the I couldn't do much with a pet that wouldn't listen to me, so my ghost headed back to Brit, ressed and stabled the steed and got out my Hiryu and went back, but I must have missed Justice. Ah well, suicide was never so much fun, though I doubt Justice feels the same way!

haha, I tend to die real well...Mostly when real life hollers at me on the other side. Sigh
