I tried making an essence of a skeletal dragon and succeeded, however when trying to summon it nothing happened. No fizzle animation, nothing just poof. Necro is at 120. Am I doing something wrong? It's a pain collecting shovels to get the soul gems so would like some input before I waste more of them

SlickBlade I have tested this. I was able to successfully create a Skeletal Dragon Essence. It produces a small round grey gem named "Skeletal Dragon Essence". When I double clicked it, a Skeletal Dragon appeared. This skeletal dragon took 4 control slots. When I attempted to do it again I failed just like you did. I did it another time and failed again. I then did it another time and it succeeded, so there is a chance to fail but I’m not sure what the success rate to failure rate is.
