I'm jsut wondering if the staff was planning anything for Mardi Gras. I'm sure that most of you don't even know what it is, since it's only celebrated in Louisiana (i think). You can google it to find out. If the staff is intrested, I can give some suggestions for Mardi Gras stuff. Not expecting anything thought, since you have been busy with Valentines Day. Let me know, I would be happy to do anything. =)

lol mardi gras is celebrated in philly... or was until there was a riot in the streets so now everything closes early and police presence is crazy. that would be really cool tho... day of the dead items and the like

Oh ok cool. Its a really BIG deal here. I get a whole week off of school for it. My school is different though. Most of the schools jsut get monday and tuesday off. Guess I'm lucky!

I thought pretty much everyone knew what mardi gras was. It started in the city of Nice, France in 1294, was first celebrated in the US in Mobile, Alabama(believe it or not) and then much later celebrations were moved to the city of New Orleans.

Anywho, you actually get school off for mardi gras? wow
I never would have thought that. It's not like an important holiday or anything. lol

I get off of school for it too. =D but I also go to a Catholic high school...lol
