I noticed that the Tunic piece of the star armor set - the 'Armor of the Star Blocker' - does not display a durability rating. Is there any way to find out when it needs to be repaired/powdered?

LochLinn, I just took a look at a new piece of Armor of the Star Blocker and it does have a durability of 255/255. Once a piece of armor wears out , it will no longer show a durability.

Thank you Ghost .. it must have been worn to almost nothing (I wonder what the previous owner[s] were doing with it?). I tried some Powder of Fortification, and the durability numbers are showing again. At this point, it shows 'xxx/236' - so the max possible durability may be degenerated a bit. I'll just grab another piece asap, this one will hold me for a while yet. Thank you again

Once an item reaches 0/xxx hit points remaining, it starts to deduct damage from its max HP. You can still repair the item during this time but it will forever have a lower max value.

If you don't repair it and durability reaches 0, the item poofs from existence. You can see this in action if you attack the Headless Horseman using a mace weapon.
