There have been several occurrences in the last couple weeks regarding items and their blessed status. Players thought their items were blessed, but when the backups were restored, and the items investigated, they turned out not to be blessed.

Keep in mind that blessed items must be worn, or kept in the top layer of the backpack to retain their blessed status. Items held in a sub container in the backpack will loose their blessed status and not res with you when you die.

If your item is blessed, it will say "Blessed" when you mouse over it.
