Citizens of Whispering Pines… We’d like to announce a new annex to the guild town of Embers. This new town is a collection of homes that are interconnected by a network of elevated sky bridges and provides a unique approach to housing here on the shard.

Several of The Fire Clan members have joined together to create this new town.

The unique sky bridges require a home owner’s use of a yard wand and deco tool to position components properly. At this time TFc has no intent in moving our guild house to the new town but that may be an option in the future. The name of this new community is ‘Ember Skys’.

Patty Lee is the owner of the existing TFc Vendor Hall. Patty would like to have her house plot back to use, so Lamb is donating one of his plots as space for a new TFc Vendor hall in the Ember Skys community.

We would invite others that are interested in expanding this development to adjacent islands and make this a thriving metropolis. Have fun hanging out in Ember Skys.

I should add this note: Lamb is the owner of the new TFc Vendor Hall and as before vendor spots are free of charge. All that is asked is that you keep your vendors stocked and customers happy. See Lamb for a spot.

This is an addendum to the announcement of the bridge community of Ember Skys. In our haste to make the announcement I neglected some important information regarding this project. I want to publicly apologize to Shatterheart for this over sight.

It was and is my intent to give credit where credit is due for the stroke of brilliance that made Ember Skys possible; that would go to Mr. Shatterheart!

The skybridge community concept was one that was developed and evolved by Shatterheart over the course of many months and massive amounts of effort to experiment with technique design considerations. This project was his dream and after constructing an amazing piece of design with his 3 plot Chateau.

Working on that first project for his wife and himself the ideas began to flourish. He often brought friends by to show his handy work and share his ideas. He adapted fledgling techniques and evolved them in to practice and concept that is best described as a vision.

Shatterhearts dream was to build a community that was like none other on any other free shard and virtually impossible on an OSI shard. Making a show piece for Whispering Pines the game home he has come to love. If you will this was Shatterhearts giving back to a community that he has become deeply a part of.

After building this series of concepts in his mind he began looking for a place to put it into action. Core to his vision for the project was the involvement of numerous fellow players, and inclusion in the dream. He had hoped to keep the initial work cloaked until such a as it could be rolled out providing a very clear representation of the first fruits of that vision.

To do this Shatterheart enlisted several friends. First only Lamb, then another, then another and so on. We didn’t put up house gates initially as we wanted to get the show ready before drawing the curtain. Yesterday, due to a miscommunication the curtain was raised and ‘Ember Skys’ was unveiled ahead of the time that he (Shatterheart) had intended.

So when you travel around this awesome town remember who you have to thank for it, as it has come from the mind and vision of Shatterheart. We have more work to do, and there will undoubtedly be new residences moving in and adding to the community, but it is and long will be a work in progress, as new players make it their home as well.

Shatterheart, my deepest apologies for not realizing that we had a communication issue at play yesterday and not asking everyone to pause to confirm the unveiling together with you before we did. I am at fault for not putting a hold on this and I am truly sorry.

To Lamb, who saw what I saw, and sacrificed a GREAT house to move here.
He took nearly every idea I had, and improved it.

To Kaw, and Patty Lee, who fell in love with the concept, improved our ideas, and moved heaven and earth to make it a reality.

To Mesmerize, Nonoffensive, and Vanson, who were VERY patient with us, and whom without, our "working model" would not exist.

To Nia Atei, a special thanks. Without Nia's insight, and pure skill, the vast majority of the homes in Ember Skys would be a tenth of what they are.

Most importantly, To Ghost Rider Grey, and Falkor. Without these two guys, NONE of this would be possible. The vast amount of time and heart they invest to provide us a place to play, interact, and create neat things together is incredible, and very much appreciated.

To All, remember its still a work in progress, so please bear with us. New travel gates will go up soon.

Some may love it, others not so much, but perhaps all may find it unique.
